2008 Fall Ball Season is Underway!
Greenville Little League is offering an Instructional Fall Baseball league this
year. This is an opportunity for boys and girls to learn more about the game.
The competitive level is turned down and players get to play a variety of positions.
It is a great opportunity for beginning players and players moving up to the next
division to get introduced at a slower pace and for "veteran" players to hone
their skills.
2008 GLL Fall Ball Registration Ended Friday, 8/29.
Age divisions are Coach Pitch (7-8 years old), Minors (9-10) and Majors (11-12)
with "League age" based on your child's age as of April 30, 2009. Please note that your son or daughter must be league age 7 (seven years old
on or before April 30, 2009) or in the first grade to be eligible to start play
this fall. Also, players that are 13 or older or turn 13 on or before April 30,
2009 are not eligible.
Practices will begin after Labor Day and games will begin in mid-September and
conclude Sat, Nov 1. You can expect up to three practices a week before the
season starts then one or two games per week and one or two practices per week
during the season. |
