FIRST GAMES PLAYED ON MONDAY, 9/12/11 !!!
GROUND BROKEN 7/14/10 FOR NEW GLL COMPLEX!!
With the Fall 2011 Season, we began play at the New Home of Greenville Little League on Mauldin Road at the site of the old Greenville Braves ballpark and next door to the Lake Conestee Nature Park.
We have a sparkling new facility with all the safety and playability features that Little League Intl requires and that our players and families deserve. Legendary Timmons Park has served us well and our players and families have 1000s of great memories from over a decade of GLL play at Timmons. Timmons will still be our "second home" and available for practices and games as needed, but we are now making new memories at the New Home of Greenville Little League!!! Thanks to our GLL Board and our City's leaders for making the vision a reality !!

Per GLL President Bob Shaw's 2011 Spring President's Letter:
"We will begin playing our games at the old Municipal (Braves) Stadium site on Mauldin Road in the Fall of 2011. Our new home will be one of the nicest Little League baseball facilities in South Carolina, if not the best. In addition to the original field being renovated, four new fields will be constructed for our use. The complex will offer a great central building, with a large concession stand and second story press box for each field. Additionally, there will batting cages and hitting stations, bullpens, a playground and ample parking and seating. If the weather is cooperative this Winter and Spring and we get very lucky, our goal is to have a “Grand Opening” celebration and games on Championship Saturday at the new facility"
