Opening Day 2021 Details

Opening Day is here, and we ... can't ... wait!! We hope that you're as excited as us about getting on to the field. Here is what you need to know about this weekend.

1) Not all teams play. This is a significant change to previous GLL Opening Days, and is an intentional safeguarding of our players, families, and staff. With few exceptions, the only teams playing on Opening Day are our T-Ball and Coach Pitch baseball teams.

2) All team photos will be taken on Saturday. Regardless of whether you play, you will have a scheduled time to show up to have your picture taken. As in years past, players are photographed individually, and digitally combined into a team photo. That means a) you can socially distance, and b) you do need to have your player photographed even if you don't plan to purchase pictures.

3) Concessions will be open! We expect the public water fountain to be closed, so bring your own water, or swing by the concession stand to buy a cold one. Lots of new single-serving options will be available as well.
