Top 5 things you should check mid-season

Here is your Greenville Little League Mid-season Top 5 list of things you should be aware of

1) Standings - How has your team fared at the start of the season?  In all divisions, except T-Ball, we keep score and track standings throughout the Spring season.  You can find your team's standings under Team Central, View Standings.  Remember that these standings define the seeding for our post-season tournament.

2) Spring Break - Due to the impact that Greenville County Schools' schedule has on our League, we take our own Spring Break.  There are no games scheduled between Friday, April 2 and Sunday, April 11.  Your team may schedule a practice during that time for players who remain in town, but there will not be any games.

3) Lost and Found - Our lost and found has seen several new items since pre-season practices started.  If you've lost something, check the Lost and Found page to see if it has been turned in.  If you're at Conestee on a game night, you can also check with the concession staff, or the stairwell of the press box for any items turned in by the Greenville County Recreation Department staff.  Found something?  Put it in one of those locations or send us an email and we'll get it posted on the website.

4) Schedules - Our Spring season culminates in a double-elimination tournament, which will start around May 1st.  This is for all divisions of baseball except T-Ball.  In order to kick-off this tournament on time, we will need to end our 12-game regular season the week of April 27.  As a reminder, rained-out games are automatically rescheduled by the League for the next available timeslot.  This may mean that your team plays on consecutive days, or even 3 days in a week.

5) Family Fun Night and Championship Games - We've combined our Family Fun Night and Championship Games into one action-packed night at Conestee.  The Coach Pitch, Minors, and Majors Baseball championship games will be played that night.  For those teams/kids not playing in the championship game, we will have skills competitions, games, and a home run derby.  This event will take place just before Memorial Day weekend and will be the end of our Spring season.  Your team mom will have more information n this as it gets closer.
