Off the Field

At Greenville Little League, we are committed to providing more than just a sports program. As stated in the Constitution that governs us, the objective of our League is

"...to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens."

We are extremely proud to highlight here the activities of our players, through the guidance of their coaches and families, off of the baseball diamond.

Meals on Wheels

Over the years, various groups of Greenville Little Leaguers, led by their coaches, have taken part in delivering meals for Meals on Wheels. These boys represented GLL well on the field, and now more importantly, they are building their own character through assisting those members of our community who are unable to leave their homes. Pictured here are members of our 2018 11u All-star team, and a group of 2016 Coach Pitch players each who have given their time to this cause.

Miracle League

Over the Summer of 2016, several groups of players from Greenville Little League participated as buddies for the players in Mauldin Miracle League. Based in their home park of Sunset Park in Mauldin, Miracle League provides an opportunity for children with disabilities to play baseball. Much like our League, Miracle League relies on the involvement of volunteers to ensure that they can offer a safe and rewarding experience for their players, and we are proud to see some of our GLL players getting involved with this neighboring League.

Thank you to Mauldin Miracle League for letting our players participate, and to Coaches Bolemon, Coleman, Dennis, and Sanders for organizing the events.
