Lilly Mueller Fund

Each year, the community surrounding Greenville Little League's players is impacted by tragic illnesses and accidents.  The stories of loss are as heartbreaking, just as the stories of baseball teams coming together to begin the healing are uplifting.  In 2018, GLL lost one of its players to cancer.  Lilly Mueller's fight and strong will set an example that we feel important to memorialize.  A fund, established in her name, will provide financial assistance to the families of her fellow GLL players, who are dealing with a medical hardship.

Requests for Aide

In 2018, in partnership with its alumni, Greenville Little League created a program to provide financial assistance to children whose families are affected by critical illness.  Through targeted fund-raising efforts, GLL has established a scholarship which will assist families affected by serious medical conditions with covering the costs of registering for, and playing Little League Baseball and Softball.  Our hope is to provide support to the players and families of our community, through the fellowship of Little League, at a time when they need it the most.

Assistance is available with a simple request.  If you know a family who is affected by illness, whose child may need assistance with enrolling or equipping themselves for a season of Little League, please let us know.  Requests for aide will be reviewed by the GLL Board of Directors, and upon approval, will be provided directly to the family.
